Technology

These machines precisely control the flow rate, pressure, and temperature to achieve the ideal aeration in accordance with the usage.

Continuous mixers that have been developed for mass-production factories maintain the pressure inside the mixing unit and the rotation speed of the mixing rotor at constant levels, forcefully supplying fixed amounts of material and air to the mixing unit so as to continuously conduct uniform aeration. They can perform ideal aeration that batch type mixers or whipping machines cannot perform.

TARBO MIX’s aeration system

Aeration system of TARBO MIX

The material sent from the pump to the mixing head is transferred to the tip while being stirred, and air and the material is segmentalized and mixed with each other. By controlling the temperature and internal pressure, it is possible to obtain products with a uniform and fine texture.

Features of the drum type

This type passes material at a constant speed through a cylinder with a great number of square pins to obtain foam with a uniform and fine texture. The degree of emulsification and the viscosity of material increase as the distance of the cylinder interior to pass through increases, making it possible to obtain a high level of stability. These machines are suitable for products with a high cutting effect and to achieve foam with a uniform and fine texture, such as meringue.

Features of the drum type

Features of the disc type

The disc type achieves stable and fine aeration by using the centrifugal force generated by disc rotation. This type employs a method by which foam is generated as a material made to radially pass between the disc-shaped fins. As the material passes radially, it passes through low-speed rotation to high-speed rotation, thus turning into a natural foam condition. This type is suitable for products with a hand-made texture, such as sponge batter and castella sponge cake, because the mixing effect is greater than the cutting effect, and air is appropriately contained inside the batter.

❷Jacket structure

Temperature control by means of a jacket structure

By circulating cold and hot water through the mixing head of a jacket structure, temperature control of the holding tank and mixing head is conducted. Aeration in the temperature zone that is most appropriate for the material is possible.

❸Pressure adjustment

Control of stirring internal pressure by means of air pressure

At the tip of the mixing head is a regulator that adjusts the back pressure. As air is fed to the regulator, the product discharge port is narrowed and the material inside the mixing head is maintained at a certain pressure. Keeping the set pressure allows stable production to continue.

Stabilization of product specific gravity

Through the setting and adjustment of the raw material stirring pressure (back pressure), a uniform aeration is achieved in a short amount of time. It is possible to stabilize the product specific gravity and efficiently manufacture uniform products.

Options for pursuing even higher quality

Stability

First in the industry, equipped with proximity sensors at the mixing head and pump unit that pose the greatest danger of causing injury during disassembly/cleaning and maintenance, its structure allows you to use it more safely.

CIP cleaning system

The CIP cleaning system allows you to clean the machine, without disassembling it, by circulating cleaning water from the holding tank to the discharge port by means of the CIP pump after production is finished. As the cleaning water passes through the machine interior at a high flow rate and at a high pressure, it is possible to obtain a hygienic cleaning result. In a case where the device configuration is complicated, it is possible to establish a fully automatic system by using automatic valve control.

This panel controls positions such as production, cleaning, and water discharge in a fully automatic manner. The panel is equipped with an interlock mechanism that prevents erroneous valve operation and conducts sensor control among devices on a production site where multiple operators operate the machine.

TARBO MIX system

All in mix line

TARBO MIX system All in mix line

This is a simple configuration of the premix mixer, holding tank, TM-500G. All the raw materials are premixed and then foamed. It enables the most efficient mass production. This system is widely used in fresh cream, cake sponges, castellas, roll cakes lines.

Two materials mix separate line

Two materials mix separate line

This is a line system for manufacturing of a product in which a material that has been foamed by TARBO MIX is to be mixed with another material at a later stage. As the materials are fed to two systems, the device configuration consists of many devices such as a premix mixer, holding tank, and pump. This system enables mass production of delicate fabrics such as dough cakes and souffle cheesecakes with separate manufacturing methods.

Two materials mix separate line

The premix mixer consists of a cutter mixer that can perform uniform mixing in a short time. Two types of materials are separately premixed by two mixers and then fed to two holding tanks.

Two materials mix separate line

The material to be foamed is fed from one holding tank to TARBO MIX. From another holding tank, the material to be added later is fed to the foaming material discharge port. Two types of materials are uniformly mixed in the process of passing through the piping and then turn into a product.

It is possible to combine the two materials mixing process (option). For example, while respectively controlling the temperatures of separate materials, it is possible to mix them in the mixing unit, or perform aeration of one material. In this system, another material can be divided and mixed by passing the other material through the pipe.
